Stockly is an inventory and sales tracking app. Stockly is provided by Genesis Pineda. For privacy questions, contact: [email protected]
Stockly's primary purpose is to help you manage inventory items, quantities, prices, restocks, resale activity, barcodes, local transaction history, and app settings. Stockly does not require an account.
Stockly stores the information you enter into the app so it can provide inventory and sales tracking features. This may include inventory item names, categories, barcodes, quantities, prices, orders, transaction history, currency preferences, markup settings, and other app settings.
This business data is stored locally on your device. Stockly does not send this business data to the developer.
When you choose to export your data, Stockly creates a JSON file and opens your device's share interface. You decide where the exported file is sent. Stockly does not control or monitor the destination you choose through your device's share interface.
Depending on your Android device settings, the operating system may include locally stored Stockly data in device backup and restore services. If you restore a device backup, previously stored Stockly data may also be restored by the operating system.
Stockly requests camera access only when you choose to scan a barcode. Barcode scanning helps you add or find inventory items more quickly.
Stockly may request permission to add a generated QR code image to your photo library when you choose to save one. Stockly does not read your existing photos or videos.
Stockly uses Google ML Kit for barcode scanning. Google documents that ML Kit barcode scanning is performed on-device and does not require a network connection.
Google also states that ML Kit may collect diagnostic and usage analytics, including device information, application information, performance metrics, and device or other identifiers. Google states that this information is encrypted in transit and is not shared with third parties.
